Captain Adam is a funny, slapstick pirate enjoyed by all.
He tells fabulous interactive stories, teaches the kids how to be a pirate and plays various games (see games descriptions below). He is also a talented musician who plays his guitar for his music instead of using a stereo. He makes balloon swords for the boys, flowers and puppies for the girls. He provides a birthday present for the birthday child and each child receives a colouring sheet. If there are not too many kids he may also do a little drawing tattoo on the children’s hands.

He adjusts the show to suit the age of the kids at the party, if there are girls there and if the party is inside or outside.

Below are some of the fun things Captain Adam may do at your party.

Captain Adam enters the party and gets all the children together and does an introduction about himself.

He does an ‘Arrrrrrhing’ competition.

He teaches the children different pirate sayings.

Captain Adam has a (pretend) parrot that he lets the children pat and Captain Adam gets caught up in his rope and needs the kids to help him out!

He also tells a fun, interactive pirate story where he explains to the children about what he eats on the ship etc. He plays his guitar with this story too.

'Catch the Cannonball’ is another fun game he can play. The kids have to catch and throw the ball but it gets harder and harder as you can only use one arm or balance on one leg etc.

Captain Adam has a theme song which he sings while playing his guitar.

Captain Adam can also perform a drama competition where he gets the children to be different items like a cannonball…. Ready…..aim……fire! or a beautiful mermaid combing her seaweed hair or he gets the children to walk like a pirate with a wooden leg.

He also has a funny dress-up clown game where a couple of people get dressed up as a clown and have to dance.

Captain Adam can play musical statues with pirate actions to music played on his guitar.

He also has a game called ‘The Secret Pirate Game’ where he blindfolds a child and one person from the audience has to say a pirate saying in a different voice and the blindfolded person has to guess who it was.

Lastly, he makes balloon animals for each child and if there are only 10 children or less, he may do quick, hand-drawn tattoos on the kids hands (a skull or loveheart etc).

He gives the birthday child a present and everyone gets a colouring sheet. A few prizes are given out to the winners of the games.

TESTIMONIALS ABOUT PIRATE ADAM

Yesterday was my son Blake's pirate party for his 3rd Birthday.  Adam was our Pirate entertainer and I have to tell you he was great.

It was not an easy gig as some of the littlies were frightened of the whole
Pirate concept, but Adam was gentle, encouraging and so much fun that they all
came around!

As for my son, he enjoyed the act so much he asked if he could have Adam come
again tomorrow!

Adam was punctual, arrived in character and held the kids' attention perfectly
for the full hour.  He even got two dads involved in the show!

My son adored him and even though some of the kids were a little quiet, they
had a ball!

I used Princess Candy two years ago for my daughter's story book party - and
the girl you provided (sorry I forgot her name) was the most creative face
painter I have ever seen.

Adam was a superb entertainer yesterday for the three-year-olds all the way to
the adults!

So needless to say that I will again be using Princess Candy in the years to
come!

With thanks and regards,
Lysette Shaw
